Amazon keeps track of the sales rankings of all of its products. For example, if you release a book about strategies for running a successful small business, Amazon keeps track of where it ranks among all other books that are for sale. You can find these rankings easily by scrolling down on the page for a product until you find its current sales ranking.
Step 1
Go to Amazon.com. Enter the name of an item in the search bar at the top of the page.
Step 2
Click on the arrow next to the search bar to narrow the parameters of your search if necessary. Press "Enter" or click on the "Go" button next to the search bar to perform your search.
Step 3
Click on the item that you're looking for, then scroll down until you see "Product Details." The "Amazon Best Seller's Rank" is at the bottom of this section; this number represents the current sales ranking for this item in the category in which it is listed.
